POLICE, on Monday, issued a wanted bulletin for Ryan Kissoon alias ‘Dhal Belly’, in relation to the August 18, 2011 murder of Harold Rachpaul, owner of Rachpaul’s Drug Store, on Robb Street, Georgetown. Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Kissoon is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-2227, 225-8196, 226-7065, 227-1149, 225-6411, 911 or the nearest station.
All information will be treated with strict confidence, the police said.
He is of East Indian ethnicity, 171 centimetres tall and his last known address was Tucville Squatting Area, also in Georgetown .
Rachpaul, a well known pharmacy owner, 84, of Lot 75 Robb Street, Lacytown, was discovered murdered in his living quarters aback of his business place, by relatives who had gone to open the premises.
Police said the body of the victim was found at about 08:00 hrs on August 18, in his home, with his hands tied and mouth gagged with cloth.
An undisclosed sum of money is reported to have been stolen from the business place, which was ransacked and a quantity of phone cards, among other things, were missing.
Police said there were no signs of forced entry into the building and Rachpaul’s dogs usually guard the place.
