PPP/C Command Centre re-opens in Alexander Village

MINISTER of Home Affairs, Clement Rohee, on Saturday re-opened the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) Command Centre ahead of the upcoming elections 2011, which will provide information and monitor the areas allotted to party leaders. The Command Centre is on Second Street, Alexander Village, Georgetown, which is equipped with the necessary facilities to provide information on the 2011 elections.
Rohee told those gathered at the opening that Albouystown, Charlestown and West La Penitence were allocated to that centre, and as such, there are  persons there who will be monitoring these areas and they will provide information on the Preliminary List of Electors (PLE).

He urged residents to mobilise others to support the party and to work at polling stations in the areas listed in the 2011 Regional and National Elections on November 28.
The minister said that the Command Centre is fully operational on a daily basis, and the PLE is available at the location so persons could check to see if their names are listed.
Rohee also encouraged the residents to get involved in the party’s activities. The Centre is managed by Jason Abdullah.
