RKs’ Security Service rewards four brave guards

ROSHAN Khan’s (RK’s) Security Service presented several of its officers with monetary rewards for their outstanding performances on Thursday. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Khan, speaking at the function, said the recipients have been reliable and prompt while executing their daily tasks and he is very pleased.
One of the beneficiaries, Debra Caesar, posted at the One Laptop Per Family (OLPF) Project Headquarters, was doing her regular security checks when she discovered a strange man in the guard hut and, upon confronting him, was attacked and chopped twice on her right hand with a cutlass.
Even after she was wounded, she pursued him and, with the help of public-spirited citizens, managed to retrieve items he had stolen but the thief made good his escape.
Khan, who related the episode, remembered that, one afternoon while heading home, Caesar saw the same man and managed to arrest him. He was taken to Brickdam Police Station and is, currently, facing several charges.
Another guard, Denise George was on duty at the Indian Cultural Centre, when, after completing her daily task, she saw a strange bicycle outside the building and, upon making enquiries, a man confronted her and a scuffle ensued.
Khan said the woman was stabbed twice, with a pointed object, in one hand by the suspect and was unable to apprehend him then, but later, with Khan’s assistance.
George was promoted to a Gold Star officer with immediate effect and she and Caesar, along with two other male officers, were rewarded at RK’s headquarters, Light and Charlotte Streets, Bourda, Georgetown.
