Accused raw gold, Blackberry thief on $465,000 bail

QUACY Dodson (no address given) appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton yesterday, charged on two counts of simple larceny. One of the charges, which was indictable, alleged that, on August 23, at Four Miles, Arakaka, North West District, he stole six ounces, 15 pennyweight of raw gold valued $2.5M and $15,000 cash, property of Wild Cat Mining Inc., from Erwin Benjamin.
The other charge, which was summarily, said he stole a Blackberry cell phone valued $50,000 property Erwin Benjamin and he pleaded not guilty to it.
No facts related to either case were related and Dodson was put on $465,000 bail and the cases were transferred to Matthews Ridge Court for November 1.
