As part of its Community Outreach Programme, the Guyana Police Wives’ Association yesterday presented three students with school supplies for the new school year, including, uniforms, footwear, school bags and writing material. The presentation took place at the association’s office at Eve Leary.
The recipients were Rhonda Brace and Stacia Sheriff of the Police Wives’ Youth Club, and Daniel Smith of the Rosemary Lane Youth Club, which is managed by the Police Force.
The students were identified following their exemplary attitude and conduct during the recently held Annual Police Youth Camp at the Linden Foundation Secondary School, Amelia’s Ward, Linden.
Daniel Smith had been identified as the most co-operative camper.
