AS four more teams advanced on Wednesday, four made their exits when the GT&T FastBall football continued at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground. Amelia’s Ward United sent Bakewell Topp XX ‘B’ packing when they overwhelmed the ‘bread boys’ second side 4-0, behind goals from Richard Gittens in the 13th minute and Dason Luke in the 15th minute which counted as double goals for the ‘blue ball’ while Blueberry Hill United stopped Street Vibes 4-1. Kerron Noble had two goals, one with the ‘blue ball’ and Troy Miller the other while Darrel Dolphin was the lone goalscorer for Street Vibes.
Yarrowkabra ended the hopes of First Alley Shattas by a 2-1 margin with Colin McLean netting in the 21st minute and his strike in the 28th minute with the blue ball counted as two for the three goals in their win. Nigel Bowen got the lone goal for the losing Shattas side from First Alley.
The other game between Silver Shattas All Star and Hot Spurs did not come off as the Spurs failed to show up.
