A CANE harvester, who told police he did not know the lot number of his address, was refused bail when he appeared at Vreed-en-Hoop Court, West Coast Demerara yesterday.
Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus remanded Sherwin Glenn, 21, to prison after police sergeant Sherwin Matthews, prosecuting, objected to the grant , on the ground that the defendant, who pleaded not guilty to unlawful wounding, may not return for trial.
Particulars of the offence, with which he is charged, said Glenn unlawfully wounded Owen Phillips on March 20, at Patentia.
The case was transferred to Wales Court, also on West Bank Demerara, for June 27.
