Larceny accused on $35,000 bail

ESAU John, 18, (no address given) yesterday appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton to answer a charge of larceny from the person.
He was not required to plead to the charge which stated that, on April 17, he stole one gold chain valued $70,000 property of Kristy Fernandez.
Attorney-at-law Mr. Mohamed Zaffar represented the accused and requested reasonable bail. He said his client knows nothing about the allegation and will return to court for his trial.
John was put on $35,000 bail and the matter will be called again on May 30.
