Something sinister about sudden rise in criminal activities

MOST Guyanese are asking what is really going on in Guyana lately, with all these robberies and much more, as space won’t permit me to state here. These criminals are even ‘getting in’ on overseas visitors to Guyana.

Something real sinister is talking place here, especially since elections will be here in just a few months time.

Once again, an urgent appeal is going out to law makers and law enforcers of Guyana to take serious and drastic actions against the parasites who prey on the helpless and innocent.

If this is to “make the country ungovernable” then those that said this are doing a great job of it.

Once again, law makers are called upon to make or change laws to punish these misfits in order that they never live to do what they did, and are doing, to the innocent and helpless in society.
One can only imagine the pain and terror that are heaped upon these innocent helpless victims and their families.
Terror is designed to make one look over their shoulder at all times not only in the streets but in the very sanctity of their homes and at work as well.
If government cannot protect its citizens then who can?
This is what most Guyanese are asking.
This is even worse than the kick-down-the-door bandits during the PNC reign of terror that Guyanese had to endure for twenty-eight years.
Laws must now be adopted to ensure that when these merciless criminals are caught and are found guilty, they must never see the light of day, ever again, to live and be amongst civil society.
It’s sad to see what is taking place in Guyana with impunity.
Law makers must now wake-up and smell the stench of these and more brutal attacks on innocent, helpless, defenseless citizens.
