Re-cycled politicians and coalitions

A recycled politician from the WPA is currently on a coalition spree seeking to forge alliances with other parties. None other than Rupert Roopnarine is attempting to collude with other parties, principally the PNC/R. The problem with this is that he wants to hijack the process and become the eventual leader of the coalition movement. In so doing, one should ask what Roopnarine brings to the table. He does not even have a constituency to begin with. Then there is also the Everall Franklin scenario. This individual is a pseudo parliamentarian, meaning  that he got into Parliament as a result of what can be described as a ‘default’. Now he is also making demands in this coalition movement when he has nothing to offer.
As a supporter of the PNC/R, I wish to advise the party that, having elected an erudite leader like David Granger, there is no need for us being involved in any coalition. Mr. Granger has much to offer this nation and the PNC is very capable of going into the 2011 elections alone and winning.
This coalition shopping by  Roopnarine and Franklin should be rejected forthwith.
