Ansil Ross, 17, appeared before Magistrate Nyasha Williams-Hatmin yesterday to answer to a robbery under arms charge. It is alleged that on March 4 last, at De Kenderen, West Coast Demerara, he was armed with a knife and robbed Mohammed Kaseed of $10,000 cash, one bicycle valued $10,000, and a cell phone valued $5,000.
The defendant pleaded not guilty and was granted $75,000 bail.
The matter will be called again on April 28.
