MASH 2011 is slated to be bigger and better than previous years as $28M has been set aside for the hosting of the National event,
Head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr. Roger Luncheon told media operatives yesterday. The HPS said Central Government, Regions and departments will continue to receive financial support in this regard.
Dr. Luncheon however, added that while there are questions as to which state entities will receive allocations, the
public service’s claim to such assistance remains unchallenged.
Mashramani, the highlight of Guyana’s republican status, will be celebrated on February 23rd under the theme, ‘Embracing
our Diversity, Celebrating our Heritage.”
