GILLIAN Hyman, of Lot 2948 North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, has been charged with attempting to commit a felony. She appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday and pleaded not guilty to having, on April 22, 2010, with intent to defraud, attempted to obtain $5M from Lennox Cush, by falsely pretending that she was Joan Mars and in a position to sell a house with that value, knowing it to be false.
Hyman was granted $100,000 bail and the case was transferred to another Court for today.
