For possible use here…
PRIME Minister Samuel Hinds, performing the functions of the Office of President, Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Clement Rohee and members of the Guyana Police Force (GPF), Guyana Defence Force (GDF) and the Private Sector Commission (PSC) met, Thursday, with Mr. Marko Sjekloca, Business Development Manager of EMA Ltd. of Celji, Slovenia who introduced an anti-piracy smuggling satellite tracking system for possible use here.
They were all in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Brickdam, Georgetown, boardroom, where the agent for English speaking countries, Mr. Chris Eckersley gave a detailed explanation of how the components work.
He showed them the BlueTraker, an instrument with supreme telematics to create tracking and monitoring solutions.
Eckersley said the instruments are offered at an affordable price and they come with 20 years experience in the business of tracking and coding and are commercially and technically fit for land or sea use with different types of software.
He said EMA can track anything because it has 66 satellites rotating around Earth and, through the Guyana agent, Roshan Khan’s (RK) Dragnet Satellite and Asset Recovery, can do a test run to demonstrate the effectiveness.
In his presentation Eckersley also answered questions posed by the stakeholders present.
Sjekloca said the EMA Group comprises of three companies in Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia and they have become the leading marking, coding and traceability specialist in Eastern Europe.
He said, in 2004, a new division was established to develop their telematics and machine to machine (M2M) communication systems and that led to a new range of solutions for intelligent transport and mobile communications.
Sjekloca said EMA–Wireless Data Solutions is a division of EMA which develops and manufactures a range of new systems solutions for intelligence transport and mobile communications.
