ONCE again, Oasis Water Company has proven their value by supporting the Fruta Conquerors football club prior to the launching of the annual Namilco Knockout Football Festival which launches today and kicks of later in the month.

The company handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the club which will assist in the acquisition of material to help refurbish the Tucville Playfield where the tournament will be staged. The club also received a supply of water for teams and officials during the tournament.

The cheque was handed over by Wanacy Forde in a simple ceremony which was attended by Oasis’s manager Wayne Forde and President and Vice President of the Fruta Conquerors Football Club Marlan Cole and Ivor Thompson.

During the hand over, Wayne Forde praised the efforts of the club put forth over the years and for working in the interest of the sport and youths development.

In Thompson’s brief remarks, he stated that the support received from the company will surely benefit youths in the Tucville community and its environs directly and indirectly.
