Administratrix goes to Court over legacy

INDRANIE Pharbhu, in her capacity as administratrix of an estate for which Letters of Administration with the will annexed was granted to her by the High Court, is locked in a court battle with Mark Gonsalves, who occupies the property.
The legacy surrounding the litigation is that of the late Narainsamy Virasmi also known as Narinsamy Virasami and Virasami Narainsami and Pharbhu yesterday filed an action, seeking to have Gonsalves appear in Bail Court as a defendant.
In her claim, the plaintiff stated that she is the owner of the place on Parcel 344, Block XXX Zone, East Coast Demerara and the defendant is in occupation as a licensee but has refused vacate despite several demands.
Pharbhu, represented by attorney-at-law Mr. R.N. Poonai, is to get a hearing in Bail Court.
