AS part of their ‘A’ team’s preparations for their visit to Georgetown next week, the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) has arranged a special Twenty20 match between the Berbice ‘A’ team and the Berbice Under-19 team today at the Area ‘H’ ground.
The BCB has also started early preparations for the 2011 Under-19 tournament by selecting players available for this tournament and hopes to have the Berbice Under-15 and Under-19 teams for 2011 involved in at least two matches per month leading up to the next year’s tournament.
With that in mind, the following players are asked to report to the Area ‘H’ ground by 14:15 h today in their white cricket uniform.
Berbice Under-19 Preparatory Team: Kandasammy Surujnarine, Veerapen Permaul, Dominic Rickie, Joemal La Fleur, Kelvin Leitch, Clinton Pestano, Shailendra Shameer, Kevin Ramdeen, Collis Cort, Waqar Hassan, Gudakesh Motie-Kanhai, Shawn Perreira, Lloydel Lewis and Sharmindra Hardyal.
Berbice ‘A’ Team: Eugene La Fleur, Harrinarine Chattergoon, Eon Hooper, Ranga Lachigadoo Latchman, Seon Hetmyer, Steve Latcha, Anthony Bramble, Troy Mathieson, Krisendat Ramoo, Keon Joseph and Keyron Fraser.
