THE Ministry of Education is commencing the introduction of advanced proficiency examinations at several secondary schools inclusive of the Anna Regina Multilateral School located in Region Two. Systems Development Officer, Mr. Mohamed Ahmad Farouk Basir attached to Region Two administration is commending the Ministry of Education for such an astute move. Mr. Basir who is bilingual and studied in Cuba has been attached to Region Two for over three years, he looks over the installation and uses of computers in the government schools, he is satisfied that the ideal infrastructure conducive for education is well established. The ten subjects that will be offered include mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. This bold effort to offer advance subjects to benefit those who are qualified and have the urge to advance their studies.
I do hope students make full use of this golden opportunity.
