Man attempts robbery with piece of iron
TWENTY-YEAR-OLD Keswan Stephens (no address given) yesterday appeared in court on a charge of attempt to commit a felony and was denied his pre-trial freedom.
Stephens appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton and was not required to plead to the charge.
It is alleged that, on August 20 last, armed with a piece of iron, he attempted to rob Ivelaw Eastman.
Police Inspector Stephen Telford, prosecuting, objected to bail for the accused and Stephens was remanded to prison until September 29.
