The haunting beauty of the Kamuni River

People, places…
BEAUTY can be found just about anywhere, if one but takes the time to seek it out — a silent river, the trees, the birds, a clear blue sky and even the clouds. Being able to see such things, one recognizes that their very existence is something unique, and in that acknowledgement, one is able to draw some sense of joy.
There is existence without reason, where everything is simply happy; small wonder why some people seek solace in nature.
And so, an essay in photographs is one way of sharing with our readers the story of the Kamuni River.
It cuts across the left bank of the Demerara River, and in travelling along it, the most common thing one sees is the greenery, various types of trees, but it is also the home of the Timberhead and Arrowpoint Resorts, as well as the Santa Mission community. Enjoy!
