One woman in three-way fracas remanded

ONE of two females involved in a three-way fracas was remanded to prison, on Thursday, by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson. Lashwana Harry, 16, was refused bail after she pleaded not guilty to using abusive language to and unlawfully wounding Michelle Hector, 38.
Hector was also charged with abusing and assaulting Harry on July 20 and, she, too, denied the charges.
Hector said she was talking to Harry’s brother about garbage she paid him to dump when the other woman entered her yard and hit her with a piece of wood, resulting in her having to take 12 stitches on a head wound.
Harry said Hector, in turn, threw a bucket of soap water on her.
Hector was granted self-bail and both women have to be back in Court on August 13.
