IT is most inappropriate for Prof. Randy Persaud to question Freddie Kissoon’s lack of published scholarship in a recent letter.  It is unfair to expect from Freddie academic productivity of scholars like Drs. Persaud, Baytoram Ramharack, Clive Thomas, Harold Lutchman, etc. who have published in social science journals.
Freddie is primarily a fiction writer who makes arguments based on manufactured information and what he, and only he, feels is correct. Freddie insists there is no such discipline as Political Science and therefore it will not be fair for Persaud to expect the man to publish in an academic journal which will insist that arguments are properly substantiated with citations and references. Fictional writings don’t require stringent academic rigors and Freddie is doing an excellent job in fictional prose.  Keep it up Freddie and ignore Randy’ expectations.
