Sharma should bear the cross if found guilty

IF the allegations against political leader and owner of CNS Channel 6, Chandra Narine Sharma, are true then it is only fitting that he be made to bear the cross for the sexual and physiological abuse of those female minors. However, in the meantime Sharma should immediately resign as leader of the Justice for All party and immediately withdraw his candidacy for Presidential elections until such time as the court case is completed.
Anywhere in the international world, Sharma’s television broadcast license would have been revoked and he would have also been asked to vacate his leadership position within the JFAP. How can we stand by and allow this man, who has been accused of numerous incidents of child sexual abuse, to continue to compete for President of this country?
In parting I wish to say that I’m also saddened by Sharma’s complaints of inconsistency and slothfulness in the judicial system as well as his ill health, especially when there are reports circulating that he might have taken advantage of those very inconsistencies and judicial slothfulness through the usage of his large financial resources.
