GFF president congratulates Warner

FOLLOWING his ascendancy to a Member of Parliament in the Trinidad and Tobago’s cabinet, president of CONCACAF and CFU and the vice- president of FIFA, Austin ‘Jack’ Warner, received a congratulatory message from president of the Guyana Football Federation Colin Klass.
Below is the congratulatory letter:
My Dear President and friend,
Greetings.

While I have already done so by phone, please permit me on behalf of the Executives of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), the Guyanese football fraternity, and on my own behalf as your friend and brother to express our ecstatic delight at your individual success at the Polls yesterday and the success of the Coalition.
Your decision to take time off from Football at the Regional, Hemispheric, and World levels has been justifiably vindicated and we are convinced that your astute leadership, guidance, and direction of the Party’s Strategic Plan for the winning of the Election made the difference.
We have seen the positive transformation which your astute leadership has brought to football development in the Region and the Hemisphere and we are assured that the knowledge, experience, wisdom, and courage which you will demonstrate in the determination of Trinidad and Tobago’s social, political, and economical future, will make a significant difference and result in the achievement of the deliverables contained in your Coalition’s manifesto.
The Coalition’s overwhelming victory is not only a victory for the people of Trinidad and Tobago but a victory for the people of CARICOM and we are confident that you and the newly elected Administration will assist in speeding up the CARICOM Integration process.
Best wishes are also extended to Mrs Warner and the members of your family for their untiring and selfless support for your efforts and we trust that you will still be available for service to Football at all levels.
For the good of the game and the world.
