SCORES of Guyanese joined in the Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha’s grand celebrations, which kicked off yesterday, to mark the 172nd anniversary of the arrival of Indians here on the tarmac of the National Stadium at Providence, on the lower East Bank. The two day event, which is being organized with the family in mind, showcases the rich culture and traditions of Indians, and among items on last night’s agenda were a variety of exhibits, and much to the delight of the audience, a rich and packed cultural show with special performances by popular singer, Andy Singh out of Trinidad.
