WHILE perusing through the channels over the weekend I happened upon channel 72 which was showing the making of the video “one more day” by Timeka Marshall. While I am all in support of the Guyanese songbird , I couldn’t quite understand how or why it was allowed to be filmed in the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. It seems sacrilegious to allow one, who isn’t even Catholic, to be filming this song in such a pretentious manner when hours earlier I heard a song about “whining and going down and looking back” or something to that effect, on the radio from the one and very same singer! It’s a bit of a drastic switch for me and I want to know how the Roman Catholic community feels about this.
Isn’t it sacrilegious to film a song in a church?
