I personally do not feel that persons should use the media as a means of airing their dirty laundry. Mr. Eric Phillips seems to have a knack for misguiding the readers with his distortions. Mr. Phillips appears to me to be racist in his remarks, published in the Kaieteur Newspaper letter pages of Saturday 10, 2010. Just to note, the PPP Civic has never been a racist party, it is a party comprised of all races.
I feel as though Mr. Phillips is not aware of what is happening in Guyana, I would suggest that before he decides to write on an issue he should sit down and get his facts straight. He also stated that the “President was unelected as the Head of State, Head of Government, Head of the Arms Forces, Head of the National Assembly”; in the 2006 election the President was elected by the people of Guyana.
