Plucky Christian woman rescues goat from angry African bees

A CHRISTIAN woman of ExMouth Village on the Essequibo Coast bravely and miraculously rescued a goat that was under attack by a swarm of angry African bees two Saturdays ago.
According to reports, the woman, Sister Ivy Kellowan, heard from neighbours that her goat,
which was tangled up in some bushes near a heap of discarded scrap iron, was under attack by thousands of African bees.
Ivy said that rushing to the scene, she saw her goat desperately trying to escape the insects, but unable to do so because it was trapped by the bushes.
She said a young man donned a raincoat and tried to free the goat, but after being stung several times about the body, he had to abandon the mission and had run for cover himself.
Ivy said her heart sank when she saw the hundreds of bees stinging her goat, and that no one seemed able to anything to help the poor animal.
At this point, Ivy, who is a very active and dedicated member of El Shaddai Pentecostal Church at Walton Hall, decided to take matters into her own hands, but with the help of the Father.
Looking heavenwards, she said: “God, I am not testing you today, but I am going with the protection of your spirit and power to rescue my goat from those killer bees.”
She said that as she spoke those words, it seemed as though a fire hit her body and she walked directly to the swarm of bees, as scores of residents watched from a safe distance.
Ivy said that as she approached her goat, the swarm of bees suddenly parted, allowing her to free the animal from the bushes.
She said that even though there were hundreds of the insect all over the goat, she fearlessly took her hands and brushed them all away, without being stung herself, not even once.
The incident has since left villagers wondering about miracles, and the wonder-working power of God.
Ivy’s husband, Brother Kellowan, is also a dedicated child of God. He is a member of the Voice of Faith Miracle Ministries Church at Devonshire Castle and holds the position of Deacon.
Recently, he spent one month in prayer and fasting. Brother Kellowan said his wife Ivy also joined him in the sessions.
The good news of the miracle was shared in both churches the following day.
