Office Depot Vice-President impressed with local Clear Connect

VICE-PRESIDENT, Customer Service, at Office Depot, Mr. Tim McGrath visited the local franchise holder, Clear Connect Inc. on Tuesday and said the start-up team has done extremely well.
Accompanied by Mr. George Sefick, Director, Partnership and Trading, McGrath spoke to the media at the Clear Connect Lot 54 High Street, Kingston, Georgetown location.
McGrath said he is impressed with the company’s growth from only about 15 employees to the current 150 in the two years since its establishment and congratulated the founder, Mr. Adrian Collins, who is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Clear Connect, where he has worked for a number of years.
McGrath, who has been with Office Depot  for almost 10  years and is a graduate of University of Dayton and California State Polytechnic University at Pomona with an MBA in Finance,  has many years of customer service experience having worked for nearly nine years, prior being with Office Depot, for  American Express Financial Services.
Collins, a native of Guyana, has been in the American call centre business for many years, too, during which he was part of the team that consolidated and migrated offshore the in-house operations of one of America’s largest office supply retailers.
He started Clear Connect after gaining a wealth of knowledge working in the offshore sector in India, the Philippines, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and El Salvador.
Office Depot is a supplier of office paraphernalia and services and its selection of brand name supplies includes business machines, computers, computer software and furniture, while its services encompass copying, printing, document reproduction, mailing and shipping.
Office Depot generates revenues of more than US$14 billion annually and has 42,000 employees worldwide, with headquarters in Florida.
Clear Connect is a near shore contact centre and business process outsourcing provider which serves a wide range of key industries.
