TWO of the three men who were arrested following the guns and ammunition find at Eyelash Backdam, North West District on Tuesday, appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton yesterday.
One of the defendants, Ron Godette, 20, faced charges of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
He pleaded not guilty to having a 16-gauge shotgun and five cartridges without licences on March 9.
The other defendant, Ken Allen (no address given either) also denied that he, the same day, had a 16-gauge shotgun and a 9mm round, without licences for them, too.
But, after reading the charges, the magistrate did not continue the hearing because Police Inspector Joel Ricknauth, prosecuting, informed that he was not in possession of any related statements.
Magistrate Octave-Hamilton said something is wrong with one of the charges which said Allen had a 9mm bullet but she ordered that the defendants remain in Police custody until March 15.
