Several escape injury in car, mini-bus collision

A MID-MORNING accident at the junction of Camp and Church Streets, Georgetown, involving a route 32 mini-bus and a car left those involved shocked but not injured. BJJ 9676 was proceeding South along Camp Street when the car hit its back and caused it to turn turtle.
The bus driver, Judah Robertson said there were seven passengers in his vehicle and no one was seriously hurt.
Cleophas Thakurdin, who was at the wheel of PLL 8222, declined to speak about the mishap.
But an eyewitness claimed the car was speeding when it collided with the mini-bus at a time when the traffic lights at that corner were not functioning.
