IT is a good sign to see that business people are continuing to show confidence in Guyana’s economy by making significant investments. The opening of the Roti Hut, Nestle Ice cream parlour and Rituals Coffee outlet at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri signals that Guyana is indeed progressing in the investment arena. The fact that these business persons would open such outlets says that they are assured of profits and of continued business. This latest initiative by businessman Naeem Nasir, CEO of Bakewell features a partnership between Rituals Coffee and Nestle. The businessman has said that his investment is only possible because of the stability created by President Jagdeo and his Government.
Rituals Coffee is a big hit in Trinidad and Tobago and persons visiting can see these outlets almost anywhere. The fact that this company can have an outlet here says a lot too that an investor from the Caribbean is willing to invest here too.
Passengers, I am sure, would greatly appreciate this service since persons having to wait for their flights would very likely want to have some coffee while they wait and now in Guyana this is available. Our airport now offers better service in addition to all the developments over the years.
