Youman Nabi greetings to the Islamic community. As you celebrate this significant day in the Islamic calendar, the holy prophet Muhammad (On Whom Be Peace) directs all believers should seek after the truth. Allah is both merciful and kind and his followers are obliged to mirror these lofty ideas, day in and day out.

As I greet you with brotherly love, I plead that you take up the great challenge of this era. It is to eradicate all vestiges of immorality, and cruelty whether within our families or communities. To bring comfort to the victims of those who exercise authority over them.

Let us therefore pray and take appropriate action to instill among our leaders patience, love and to live by the truth and the wise counsel of the holy prophet.
