The PPP in the Mash Parade…
For the first time, the ruling People’s Progressive Party formally participated in the Mashramani Parade on Tuesday, and what a coming out it was.
Led by the Party’s General Secretary Donald Ramotar, the PPP revellers moved through the streets with much verve and flourish, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Republic, buoyed by a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction at a job well done.
The revellers all seemed to be saying that the Ruling Party had done well, in the face of tremendous odds, “and we all have much to shout about”.
