THE Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) has landed another overseas sponsor for this weekend’s tournament.
The sponsorship has come from Elisha Bacchus of Canada and followed on the heels of the Hibiscus Restaurant tournament last month.
Once again most of the country’s leading players will be battling for the top prizes at stake in the Medal Play format event.
Among the starters  will be last weekend’s  winner Mohanlall Dinanauth, Esau Shamshudin,  Mark Lashley, Albert Semple, Albert Russell, Mighty Raja, Ayube Alli,  Christine Sukhram, Patrick Prashad, Ian Gouveia, Lester Alvis, Mike Guyadin, Clifford, Alfred Mentore, Bholawram Deo, Chatterpaul Deo, Mike Mangal,   Kassim Khan, William Walker, Melissa Humphrey, Joaan Deo, Imran Khan, Colin Ming, Brian Hackett, Carlos Adams, Mel Sankies, Ronald Bulkan, Mike Guyadin, Gavin Todd, Ayube  Subhan  and  Troy Codogan.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers as well as the player with the best gross and Nearest to the Pin.
Tee-off is at 12:30 h.
Next Sunday the golfers will compete in the Charlise Adams Mashramani tournament, sponsored by Adzar Windoors Ltd at the same venue.
