Police are still hunting for a lone gunman who riddled Nicholas Hoyte with bullets on Tuesday night as he sat in his car at Light and Sixth Streets, Alberttown, Georgetown.

Police said Nicholas Hoyte, 29, called “Zaiah”, of 54 Fifth Street, Alberttown, was shot and killed at about 20:30 h when a motor car drove up alongside his vehicle and discharged a number of shots.

Nicholas Hoyte was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
