The initiative is an Annual diplomatic social activity that sees members of the Corps contributing to a worthy cause.

To this end, the children at the Red Cross Children’s Convalescent Home were beneficiaries of a washing and drying machine and several mattresses for single beds and cribs.

One of the representatives from the group, Ms. Manorma Soeknandan, the Ambassador to Guyana for Suriname, stated that the undertaking was a response to the needs of the children at the home.

Additionally, Mr. Marco Nicola, Head of Inter-American Development Bank (IBD), promised the home a stove before the year’s end.
