NBC broadcast was breath of fresh air

IN my opinion, it was a breath of fresh air with the NBC broadcast of the last two weekends with the 2009 Rome World Swimming Championships via WRHM 7 and hope that the local station will continue to make me proud with the broadcast of the 2009 Berlin World Championships from August 15-23.

As stated in a previous publication, we might witness some major upsets at the upcoming track and field games, but not in my wildest dream I expected to witness so many new world records set at swimming and Michael Phelps beaten by the German sensation, Bidermann.

As much as I am a huge fan of Phelps, I don’t foresee him winning 8 gold medals at the London 2012 Olympic Games. I base this from the performances of Serbia representative, Milorad Cavic and another American sensation, Ryan Lochte who was quite impressive.

I hope that the Guyana contingent will use the exposure and competition to their advantage in boosting their respective morale and of which should benefit them for other regional championships that they might be part of in the near future.

Adams, Burnette and Pompey representing the Golden Arrowhead in a matter of days in Berlin, have an exciting experience and keep the adrenalin pumping even though you have stiff competition ahead of you.

The Business Community, it’s worth advertising especially during such global family events which is an ideal time to capture attention of the mass.
