Daniel’s worldview is shaped solely by the Lion of Judah

IN Daniel’s den the trapper has found himself in a trap of his own.  His claim that Daniel’s book is inspired as a holy book but is subject to personal interpretation is turning heads.  If he accepts Daniel’s book as inspired, then surely he will accept the lion of Judah who in Daniel‘s book is the embodiment of truth.  But his lack of spiritual understanding betrays him.

Inspiration of Daniel’s book denotes the influence of something beyond the human intellect, a higher power guiding men as they wrote.  This mere implication of a higher power affirms the supernatural which he rejects.  His strategy to divide and conquer continues to grow old.  He ironically attempts to solicit help from those who themselves believe in a higher power.  What a tangled web he has spun.

Realising his dilemma and unsure of his ability to sway folks from their belief in a higher power, he cleverly concocts a plan of diversion:  “We are gods unto ourselves.  The answer is within you.   Don’t look up to the heavens, but look within.”    However, his messiah complex cannot save him.   He himself is a captive to the fallen nature and is in need of grace and mercy, like everyone else.

His counterpart continues to display his near-sightedness and cannot see beyond mere appearance. His plan of diversion to connect Daniel’s philosophy to a racial and genetic component is indeed laughable.  However, Daniel goes on the record once again to state emphatically that his worldview has been shaped solely by the Lion of Judah who on an old rugged cross gave his life to save wandering lambs from vain philosophy.
