TWO men were yesterday placed on a bond to keep the peace for two years, after being convicted of using abusive language to one another.
Before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson, 44-year-old Ronald Jerrick and Fizal Mohammed, 53, both of Lot 1 East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, pleaded guilty to the July 11 offences.
Mohammed told the Court Jerrick’s reputed wife is the mother of his children.
He said she and Jerrick would visit his house to see those children and, on one occasion, Jerrick used indecent language to his daughter-in-law.
Mohammed said Jerrick became upset because he admonished him not to speak to the woman in that manner.
Jerrick, in turn, said he does not want Mohammed to tell his reputed wife anything because she is usually affected when the latter speaks to her.
