THE police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 15:00 h yesterday at Crane, West Coast Demerara, which resulted in the death of Moti Ramdin, 51 years, of La Jalousie, also on the WCD.

Investigations revealed that Moti Ramdin was driving a motor pick-up vehicle with trade plates and was allegedly ‘racing another vehicle’ when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree, the Police said in a statement.

He received injuries and was taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital (WDRH) where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
