Dr. VAN West Charles, a PNC leader has publicly called on his party to apologise for the excesses it would have committed while in office. Many are under the mistaken impression that it was only the non-African sections of the population which suffered under Burnham’s PNC regime. The African section suffered more than most and the new PNC should first apologise to them.
Professor Accabre Nkofi deals with this issue in his remarkable booklet “The Rebirth of the Blackman”. The book has gone scarce, but I recently saw a few in Fogarty’s in Water Street. Professor Nkofi’s book would be an eye opener to all sections of the population.
