GOKARN Ramdhani (Level 3 Badminton Coach) attended a High Performance Continental Badminton coaching course for qualified coaches which took place in Boca del Rio, Veracruz, Mexico, from June 14 to 20.

This course is organised through the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) and the Mexican Olympic Committee A.C., through its department of Courses Coordination and under the auspices of the Pan American Sports Organisation, and as part of the Courses and Seminars programme approved by the Pan American Olympic Solidarity Commission for the year 2009.
The objectives of the course were to update the coaches with the new theories of sport coaching in the advance of sciences applied to sports and to collaborate towards improving the technical level of the coaches, for the benefit of their high performance athletes on their road to the events in the Olympic Cycle.
