No response from NDC on Belmonte dust pollution

I refer to an article written by Ms Loretta Singh in Thursday May 28 in the Guyana Chronicle about the dust pollution in the Mahaica area and I want to support her call for an investigation on the matter.

I am a resident of Belmonte, Mahaica, and I have been living there for 62 years and I have full knowledge of the whole problem. My wife and I signed the petition that was sent to the NDC in 2000. To date there was no response from the NDC. I have been following the movements of the responsibility of this act from this rich rice miller. Everyone keeps blaming every one for this grave injustice that is meted out to the people who lives in this community.

The NDC has been operating with three councillors and a Vice-Chairman all belonging to one political party for a number of years. I am wondering if we are starring a movie because this is a breach of the Local Government Regulation.
Can someone tell us where the buck starts and where it ends?
