GUYANESE Walter Moore’s whirlwind rise in the sport in which he earns his living now takes him to Finland where he recently signed a two-year deal with FF Jaro.
The Club competes in the Finnish Premier League; the top flight of professional football in the Nordic countries.
Though not giving much details with regard to the terms of his contract, Moore told Chronicle Sport yesterday that he’s happy to play top-flight football and is committed to the Golden Jaguars, Guyana’s senior National football team.
Moore, 30, whose first taste at professional football was at Trinidad and Tobago Pro-league Club North East Stars in 2006, had played for the Jamaal Shabazz-owned Caledonia AIA (2007–2013) as well as Charlotte Eagles Football Club in the USA.
In 2013, Moore signed with FC Vostok in the Kazakhstan Premier League, making 31 appearances for the outfit but
