GUYANA is, for the first time, being represented at the Miss Caribbean Roots 2016 pageant at the celebration at the 43rd Providence, Saint Catalina Festival in the colourful Colombia. The event is slated from June 20-27, and Guyana is ready to make a solid mark at this prestigious pageant.

Diana Ahmad was chosen to attend the pageant after receiving the Chairman’s Award from the Chairman of the Miss Global International Pageant, Mr. Lachu Ramchandani. She was the first runner-up in the selection process for this year’s Miss Global International Guyana 2016 pageant.

Ahmad is delighted to have been chosen, and is fully confident that, with the training she received, she is ready to perform. She will be competing against eleven (11) other Caribbean beauties in Talent, Introduction, Traditional Dress, Fancy Dress, Interview, and Final Question rounds for the coveted title of Miss Caribbean Roots 2016.
