They were not required to plead to the indictable offense and were remanded to prison until June 21. The woman was represented by Attorney Paul Fung-a-Fat while Lewis was unrepresented.

It is alleged that Lewis, known as ‘Bullet’, is the hitman who was hired by Bibi to kill her father on February 15, 2008. He was the owner of a gas station at Ruby, East Bank Essequibo and died at a hospital after being badly beaten in his home.

His daughter turned herself in at the police station at Leonora, West Coast Demerara over a week ago, and has implicated other persons in the murder.

Lewis was recently arrested in connection with the double- murder that occurred at Good Hope, East Bank Essequibo and reportedly confessed to the brutal murder of the businessman.
