The body of Kaieteur tourist Laleta Sivanand has been flown to the city and a post-mortem is likely by weekend, the Ministry of the Presidency said this afternoon.The body, which was first spotted by a KNP Ranger late Saturday afternoon, was found in a rocky area at the base of the Falls, which had previously been submerged by high water levels, the Ministry stated.

Sivanand went missing on September 1. She was at the time with a group of visitors to the Kaieteur National Park.
