A US$1.7 million Early Childhood Development Project was launched today at Bartica. First Lady Sandra Granger was a special guest at the event. The project is intended to train nursery and grade one teachers, provide schools with teaching and learning materials, and facilitate other measures. The project, funded by the World Bank, will run until March 2018.
