A 36-year- old man succumbed to stab wounds he sustained during a suspected robbery at around 0200hrs on Monday morning at Belmont, Mahaica.

Dead is Fareez Yassem , a father of three of Lot 25,Belmont Mahaica. Reports are that the man , whois a former employee of Banks DIH Ltd, was found with multiple stab wounds to his body. He was found lying in a  drain by his wife and neighbours crying out for help.

The man’s death has left his friends and relatives in a state of shock.
